More of the Park!

Here they are! It's hysterical how they always stand in age order! :) All their little expressions soooo them! A beautiful day at the park! More to come this summer!:)

I love the innocence in my little Olivia--so precious in her actions and words. "I love you Momma." is always finished with a gooey one on the cheek! Love it!

It's Mr. Elliot, our little Bubba on the go! He is getting sweeter and sweeter and knows just the "right words" to say to his sisters sometimes.:) Getting a little snuggle behind my back when I'm doing dishes from my little buddy is the best!

Faithie-always in "discovery mode"! On the look out for every detail! Precious Heart she has for her family. I can always count on Faith for a love letter on my pillow or a sweet hug!

Emma--as strong as the wall behind her! God's building amazing character in my awesome girl!

I see Hannah smiling at her future! Such an awesome big sister and role model!
So here we are, another day, very exhausting I might add. 2 confirmed cases of strep, and nasty sinus infection. Hopefully the count stops there. The doctors office was a scary place today. Kids and adults sounding the same as some of my clan. We're not alone!
Some very exciting news on the job front for Sam! I signed a contract today as a reading teacher in the Summer School. It is a half day, so I can still hit the city waterpark with the kids in the afternoon. It is truly an answered prayer and I am honored to take such a position. I will also soon be signing a long-term sub. contract for a teacher going on maternity leave May 1 through the end of the year. Again, I am humbled and honored all at the same time. I feel so green, both Tim and I. But our district has been an amazing "classroom" for us if you will, as well as the other 3 districts Tim has worked in. We are just about finished with our first class. The computer was smokin' today! One more class and we are hopeful by the end of April if not sooner, we will be finished and on our way to licenses! God has been amazingly good! He always is. And it has been an incredible experience of daily trusting Him for His provision. We are grateful, and give Him all the glory for sustaining and teaching us so much about His awesome power and character. The story will never end. The trial will. But there will be another, and in that time, we will remember how God moved in the Cecil Clan in the years 2008-2009 and beyond. Thank you Lord, Thank you.

Her first tooth!

Well first of all, the bad news...Livie has strep throat again. The 4th time in 2 1/2 months! Crazy! So we are on a "better" antibiotic, and her tummy was really buggin' her today after school. Olivia's only symptom for strep. which she didn't even have when we saw the doc. on Thursday last week. Just got the results today. The doc. did a culture rather than a rapid. We'll see what happens from here for her. So she wrote me a note to put by her bed tonight, it reads, "do not wak me up in the moning bey kis i am sik." This is to remind Daddy not to wake her up in the morning. She has to stay home 24 hours. What a little sweetie! I'm crackin' up here!!! Okay, I'm still trying to manuever pictures and text, so the best part of the day comes after Sam goes on and on about herself and the weather, so keep scrolling down after my "Blah, Blah, Blah" session.

Ohhh, hooo...It was a good day. I myself was hit with that nasty head cold, and went to teach all day for the music teacher that lost her voice. There wasn't one stinkin' kleenex in the whole classroom. Good old tp.:) Working like crazy to finish my first class for teaching full time. Tim is breathing down my neck with his. He's doing great! So awesome to be able to bounce ideas off each other. We aren't in a race. It will be great to send the first of 2 envelopes off by the end of the week! I'll share real soon about the last 8 months. But now, I've got to get kids and Mama and Papa on Room Rescues. Then I've got a date in the basement with Mount Washmore...I just love the sound of the washing machine, it's so calming. I know, I'm a little out there, but it's the little things that make me smile.:) Sleep tight everyone. Enjoy your day tomorrow! 72 expected to break the record for temps here in Wisconsin! Can't wait!

Okay, HERE'S the BEST part of the day...Drum roll please for Olivia....!!!!!!!

Olivia's first lost tooth! We just had to share! I came around the corner at lunch time at school (I was subbing at the kids school today), and there was my little Peachy with her tooth out! She was soooo excited. She's been waiting for that thing to just drop out! The one next to it now is super loose. Too funny! She was playing basketball, and BAM!!! the ball knocked it right out!

Here's the proof! It's so tiny!

Good night all!:)

A Photo Shoot With Mom at the Park!

What a delicious day it was today! Buckets of sunshine and oodles of smiles! We had so much fun. Faith gathered a bag full of snacks, grabbed the camera and we were off to a photo shoot with Mom in the park! Very fun indeed! It was soooo awesome to just focus on one kiddo at a time. Each of them unique and different but sharing some of the same characteristics: youthful, soft skin, shiny eyes, rosey cheeks, and precious smiles. I hold this day so very close to my heart today. I treasured every minute and am so glad we have these pics to remember our special day together. Tim and I truly are blessed beyond measure. What treasures each of these sweeties is. Enjoy!

Peek-a-boo! Mr. E. can't wait to get to the playground, thus the
grumpy grin!

Is this really my Hannah? You beautiful girl and your beautiful heart!
Love you soooo much darlin'!

Emma-pie! You are growing into a very fine young lady!
Thanks for all the help you have given me for this project! Love you!

Faith! Our little go-getter! Thanks for your
contagious laughter, bright eyes and smile, and awesome
shoulder rubs!

Hey Bubba! Elliot created this pose all by himself! Mr. Grumpy
eventually warmed up to the camera and was all for the camera!:)

Olivia Mayflower-or-Doughy O-y as we would call
you as a babe. You are our precious girl and love your
sweet smile and kisses and hugs! Love my cuddle bug!:)
Well there you have it! We'll share more later, but for now, it's Night, Night! Mr. Tim just got home from work and needs the computer! Sleep tight!

Hey there,
It's really late, in my world any way, 10:39, just waiting for the sheets to dry.:) Our Papa was called into work earlier today, so he got to leave work earlier. What a treat that was! Homemade pot pies at his request and brownies created by chef Elliot for dessert! Lots of cuddle time-lots of blankets and a movie! Very fun! Looking forward to some warmer temps and a photo session with the kids tomorrow morn! Can't WAIT to share!:)

Sleep Tight! Sam

Indescribable...

Good Morning,
What an awesome song to worship God with today. Indescribable...yes...God truly is. I look around me today, and I am in awe of what I see outside the window. Under all of the dead looking grass and empty branches there is amazing life. And my God tells it all when to come and when to go! There is green grass coming, leaves to unfold, flowers to pop out of the ground. That means more mud for my kitchen :). But I'm thankful for each little and teenage footstep that will put it there. Just as I see God's majesty outside, I see more growth in my kiddos and hubbie. Loving each one, and learning every day what they need prayer for, and how to lead and guide their steps with their Savior at their side. It is a joy, it is an overwhelming task all at the same time. To be their to rejoice in their successes and put bandaids on the heartaches with snuggles, a gentle word, prayer, and/or a tissue, is truly amazing. I'm their Mom. I love that! To see my prince charming walk through the door no longer adorned in saw dust and physically exhausted, but in dressed up attire, and an hours worth of stories about his day of teaching is simply fantastic! I've got more to share, but my wheels are still turning...very contemplative today...very grateful for the amazing work God has done in our family these last 8 months. Indescribable is right! Wow, truly amazing! Hope to post more on that tomorrow. Yes, pictures will come. Emma has a concert tonight, so I think some pictures after that would be awesome!
